Ford announced today a two-step of dolled-up 2019 Explorer and a do-si-do of 2019 Expedition special editions that it will show off at the State Fair of Texas opening today in Dallas. Why the Texas reveal? While the special editions will be on sale nationally later this year, Texas is truck country. It accounts for 1 in 4 of the Expedition full-size SUVs, according to Ford, and a big chunk of Explorer mid-size SUVs as well. Ford also claims the crown of best-selling brand in the Texas.

“Texans love their SUVs and these four special-edition models were created very much with them in mind,” said Craig Patterson, Ford’s large SUV marketing manager, in a statement.
