Golden Knights re-sign RFA Shea Theodore to 7-year deal

The Vegas Golden Knights have re-signed defenceman Shea Theodore to a seven-year contract worth an average annual value of $5.2 million.

Theodore had six goals and 23 assists in Vegas’s surprising inaugural campaign. He appeared in all 20 of the team’s playoff games, registering three goals and seven assists during the Golden Knights’ run to the Stanley Cup final.

In his three NHL seasons, the 23-year-old has skated in 114 games and has recorded 46 total points.

The Langley, B.C., native was acquired by the Golden Knights in a trade from the Anaheim Ducks during the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
