Salman Khan’s latest release, Race 3, is not a critics’ darling but the movie has a mass appeal. No wonder it was able to cross Rs 100 crore in just three days, like the actor’s previous movies, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The movie was able to pass the Monday test. On the fourth day of its run, Race 3 minted Rs 14.24 crore. This has brought the total to an impressive Rs 120.71 crore. As per trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, the movie is holding up well in single screens/mass circuits. As expected! The movie had collected Rs 29.17 crore on Friday, Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday, and Rs 39.16 crore on Sunday.
Race 3 has already broken several box office records. It has become the fastest Rs 100 crore collector in 2018. It is the highest grossing movie in the Race franchise already. By minting Rs 38.14 crore on Saturday, Race 3 became the highest Eid grosser. Until now, the record was held by another Salman Khan film, Sultan.

Race 3 has been directed by Remo D’Souza. The movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, and Bobby Deol. The movie follows the life of Sikander, played by Salman, as he struggles to keep his family from falling apart amidst arms deals, bank heists and high profile blackmailing.
BollywoodLife’s Ankita Chaurasia wrote in her review, “Race 3 is a treat for Salman fans but it ends at being just that. There is no reason why you shouldn’t buy the tickets to watch Salman Khan doing what he does best. But if you go in expecting to watch the third film of the Race franchise, you might not be too pleased with the way it has been treated.”
